In the UEFA Champions League – a fantastic performance by Madrid "Real" midfielder Federico Valverde.

The 27-year-old Uruguayan shined in the first leg of the Round of 16 against "Man City," scoring three goals and leading to a crushing victory (3:0) against the "Man City" team.

The first goal of the match came in the 20th minute when, after a fantastic pass from goalkeeper T. Courtois, F. Valverde put the hosts ahead (1:0).

"Real" had no intention of stopping – in the 27th minute, the midfielder doubled the lead (2:0).

In the 42nd minute, F. Valverde continued his show and struck again, defeating G. Donnarumma – 3:0.
