The National Stadium is Growing Like Yeast: The Second Construction Phase Has Begun

Football fans are rubbing their hands together – the chances of entering the National Stadium in the future are gradually increasing.

The Mayor of Vilnius, Remigijus Šimašius, wrote on social media:

"The stadium is growing – the second phase of construction has begun!

Work at the construction site is continuing intensively - precast concrete structures, walls, columns, flooring slabs, and stands are being installed.

A second crane has joined the work, making the construction process even more efficient.

The stadium is gradually rising from the foundations – every week we can increasingly see the future stands and spaces where thousands of Vilnius residents will soon gather.”
