In the second tier of German football, 2. Bundesliga, a small oddity occurred.

A masked fan who jumped onto the field during the match between "Münster" and "Hertha" managed to connect the VAR technical equipment.

The referee wanted to review a questionable incident in the first half but was unable to do so.

The match was paused for a while, and VAR began to function again.

"Hertha" defeated the "Münster" team 2:1 away.
