The military conflict that has arisen may directly affect the upcoming world football championship.

The Iranian national team has earned the right to play in the tournament, which will take place in the USA, Mexico, and Canada, but the president of this country's football federation, Mehdi Taj, acknowledged that he doubts the national team's participation in the tournament.

"It is clear that after this joint attack by the USA and Israel, we can no longer look at the world championship with hope. The USA has launched an offensive against our homeland, and we will respond to this," M. Taj told the portal Varzesh3.
