The Lithuanian champion FK "Kauno Žalgiris" defeated the legendary Ukrainian football club Kyiv "Dynamo" in a friendly match in Turkey. Eivinas Černiauskas' team won the match with a score of 1:0.

Both teams had their chances during the match, but the first goal was to be awaited almost until the end of the game.

In the first half, Yukiyoshi Karashima took a dangerous free kick, and the opponents also had several dangerous shots.

In the second half of the match, the Ukrainian team shook the crossbar of the goal defended by Deividas Mikelionis with a long and powerful shot, and after a corner kick, Žalgirietis Aldayras Hernandez headed the ball into the opponent's post.

In the 88th minute of the match, the first goal was scored. The Žalgirietis forced the opponents' defenders to make a mistake, Motiejus Burba flicked the ball with his heel to Fedoras Černychas, and the latter took a strong shot along the ground, putting the Kaunas team ahead – 1:0.

During the remaining time of the match, the players from Kaunas managed to defend solidly and ultimately celebrated victory 1:0.
