Andrius Tapinas, after being officially announced as the president of Vilnius "Žalgiris," spoke more about his set goals on his Facebook page.

The public figure wrote: "This is official. The shareholders of Vilnius "Žalgiris" unanimously agreed today to appoint me as the president of the club.

I leave the sports part to professionals. I have a few modest goals in my area:

• An average of 2500 spectators and steadily increasing at A league matches
• In a few years, the club's budget must reach at least 6 million euros.
• A completely different match day experience for every attendee: from toilets to bars and entertainment.
• Strategic partnerships with institutions such as the Lithuanian army and Vilnius University.
• Working with communities - from schools to seniors
• The academy becomes the best place for the most talented young people to pursue their dreams
• The women's football team's ascent to the top
• The people of Vilnius feel that "Žalgiris" is and will be their team, the city turns green and white on match days.

And my personal project – that every newborn in Vilnius receives a gift of beautiful green and white Vilnius "Žalgiris" onesies and that family ties with the club begin from the first days.
