Vilnius "Žalgiris" suffered a defeat in the friendly match cycle.

With new ambitions, the capital club stepped into the new season and lost 1:2 to Suwałki "Wigry" team.

The hosts' goal was scored by Paulius Golubickas, who returned to the club.

The winners' goals were scored by Jakub Kwiatkowski and Bartosz Grudek.

Suwałki "Wigry" plays in the fourth tier of Polish football. "Žalgiris" has been playing friendly matches with them for several years.
