The head coach of London’s Arsenal club, Mikel Arteta, commented before the match against Bournemouth on possible transfers in January and Ethan Nwaneri's future:

"We are open to any opportunity: both loans and purchases. Of course, we will try to find a solution that will be short, medium, or long term.

This is always significantly better as it gives you stability. But we will see what happens.”

"Every player is very important, and each of them has their role.

This role can change during the season for various reasons, and every player must be ready to compete. That’s it.”

18-year-old Ethan Nwaneri has scored one goal in 11 appearances this season.

Last season, the Englishman scored 9 times in 37 matches.
