The Italian Super Cup tournament held in Saudi Arabia did not interest the residents of the Apennine Peninsula.

It was announced that only 4 million viewers watched the final tournament match between Napoli and Bologna on television.

That’s 40% less than last year.

Sports media explains these changes by providing several reasons.

First of all, the timing of the final in Saudi Arabia was inconvenient for Italians, and on top of that, the television channel was changed.

Additionally, the Napoli and Bologna teams cannot compare in "weight" to the giants – Juventus, Milan, and Inter Milan.
