Former AC Milan club defender Theo Hernandez revealed the main reason he left the team during the summer to the Italian sports publication Gazzetta dello Sport:

"I never wanted to leave the rossoneri team. I was open to staying here, but when one person from the management calls you and says: if you stay, we will separate you from the squad...

In that case, you can only look for a new team."

Theo Hernandez is currently playing for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal and has scored 5 goals in 16 matches.

The Frenchman played for AC Milan since 2019 and scored 34 goals in 262 matches.
