FIFA Intercontinental Cup – In the Hands of PSG Players

The PSG team has claimed another trophy.

On Wednesday, Luis Enrique's squad triumphed in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup match held in Qatar.

The French team defeated the Brazilian club "Flamengo" 2:1 after a penalty shootout.

Regulation time and extra time ended with a score of 1:1.

In the 36th minute of the match, K. Kvaratskhelia, after a pass from D. Doue, gave PSG a narrow lead, and Jorginho equalized the score in the second half (62nd minute from a penalty).

The triumphant French team players extended their excellent international match season, during which they enjoyed UEFA Champions League winner's medals and the Super Cup trophy, and reached the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
