After the match, which ended 3:0 against Club Brugge, Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta praised midfielder Christian Norgaard:

"He probably prepares better than any of his teammates. He is a player who makes us all better every day.

The midfielder can play in any position, in any condition, for more or less minutes, but his dedication is always incredible.

He is a great example for everyone in the team.”

31-year-old Christian Norgaard has played seven matches this season.

Prior to that, the Dane spent seven years with Brentford, scoring 13 times in 196 matches.
