The head coach of London’s Chelsea club, Enzo Maresca, stated before the match against Bournemouth that it is unclear about Romeo Lavia's return and one regret from the game against Leeds United:

"We don't know when R. Lavia might return to the squad.

It is a muscle problem. We don't know if it is long-term or short-term.”

"One of the things I regret is that I didn’t give Josh Acheampong playing time in the last match.

The reason we played with Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Trevor Chalobah was that we saw their forwards were crossing the ball into the penalty area, but we lost many of them.”

London’s Chelsea club is in fourth place in the English Championship with 24 points.
