"Barcelona" club's sports director Deco denied rumors that Miami "Inter" star Lionel Messi could return to the Catalan team:

"L. Messi coming back for a short time? I don't think that's possible.

The Argentine has a valid contract. I don't think it should be overstated... L. Messi is always L. Messi, he can always offer something.

But that's not something we should be discussing right now."

38-year-old Lionel Messi played for "Barcelona" from 2004 to 2021 and scored 672 goals in 778 matches.

"Barcelona" is currently in first place in the Spanish championship with 37 points.
