In the Sunday match against Liverpool, there was yet another very strange action by Lucas Paquetá that is associated with match manipulation. He received two yellow cards in one minute and was sent off the field. This happened solely due to disputes with the referee.

After the match, L. Paquetá tried to place all the blame on the English Football Association on his social media.

"It's funny when for two years your life and career are affected, yet you don't receive any psychological support from the federation.”

"Maybe this crazy behavior of mine is just a reflection of everything I’ve experienced and, apparently, continue to experience! I apologize if I am not perfect,” wrote L. Paquetá.
