"Liverpool" club defender Virgil van Dijk sent a message to the fans of this team before the match against London’s "West Ham United":

"We will not give up. Every challenge is an opportunity. We need to grow together, help each other, and show the strengths that we have.

We are facing one of the toughest challenges of our journey... but we refuse to let it affect us. We will grow from this. I believe in this team and everything I have.

No one has handed anything to us on a platter - we have fought for everything ourselves, and this period is not exceptional.

I will tell the fans to keep supporting the "Reds". We need each other stronger than ever before."

"Liverpool" has lost nine out of their last 12 matches.

They share 9th to 12th place in the English championship with 18 points.
