The head coach of the "Liverpool" club, Arne Slot, commented on the goals conceded, taking responsibility, and his future before the Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven:
The number of goals conceded is tragic for a club like the "Scousers".
We are conceding more goals than last season. At this point in the season last year, we conceded zero goals, and this year nine.
I take responsibility and feel guilty about the performance. As a coach, I strive to set an example and work even harder.
If I'm being honest, I didn't expect to find myself in such a situation, as we are talking about tactical matters and the quality of players in this team.
We know what quality players are in the "Liverpool" team... all of this should give us confidence.
Improvement will come if we stay together and continue working as hard as we can.
The "Liverpool" club is sharing the 9th-12th places in the English Championship with 18 points.
