Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta praised Eberechi Eze, who scored three goals, and Leandro Trossard after the 4-1 victory against Tottenham, and commented on the absence of some players:

"Our sporting director Andrea Berta was amazing to bring in E. Eze, as we currently don’t have Gabriel, Kai Havertz, Viktor Gyokeres, Gabriel Jesus, and Martin Ødegaard available.”

"Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke have just recently returned, so thank God we have a lot of footballers.”

"After the international break, Eberechi Eze was given two days off. After just one day, he wanted to train and improve.”

"When a player with such talent and desire is at such a high level, then you see things like this happen.”

"L. Trossard didn’t have the chance to leave last summer; I was very clear, there were no chances.”

I know that a player like him, surrounded by such players, Leandro Trossard will be a difference-making player for us.”

30-year-old Leandro Trossard has scored 5 goals in 15 matches this season.

The Belgian has been playing for this team since 2022 and has scored 33 goals in 139 matches.
