A scandalous incident was recorded at the U17 World Football Championship taking place in Qatar.
Before the match between Japan and North Korea, the Koreans decided to behave strangely during the greeting ceremony.
According to the press, the Japanese were somewhat frightened to see their opponents waving fists.
However, the match delegates did not see a violation and allowed the match to begin.
It later became clear that the aggressive gestures did not bring any benefits to the Koreans – they lost to their opponents 4:5 in a penalty shootout and were forced to end their fight in the knockout stage of the tournament.
The formal greeting between the North Korean and Japanese kids, before playing the Round of 16 in the Under-17 World Cup… 🇰🇵😅🇯🇵
