Norway will play in the World Football Championship for the first time since 1998.

On Sunday evening, the Norwegians concluded the qualification cycle in a powerful fashion, defeating the Italians 4-1 away.

In the 11th minute, Francesco Esposito put the Italians ahead, and it seemed that the hosts could try to create a miracle and fight for first place in the group.

However, the Norwegians left no chances for their opponents in the second half, and Antonio Nusa scored the first goal for the visitors in the 63rd minute.

Erling Haaland scored his goals in the 78th and 80th minutes, and Strand Larsen solidified the victory for the visitors in the 93rd minute.

The Norwegians completed the qualification cycle without stumbling and collected the maximum number of points.

The Italians finished second in the group and will still have to fight for a spot in the World Championship.
