Former "Barcelona" club and Spain national team striker David Villa responded to the question between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but did not seek to belittle the latter:

"I choose L. Messi... but it seems aggressive and angry to me when someone chooses L. Messi and thinks they automatically belittle C. Ronaldo.

He is one of the best players in football history."

David Villa played alongside Lionel Messi at "Barcelona" from 2010-13 and during that time they won seven trophies.
