Well-known German referee Patrick Ittrich has come up with several amendments to the football rules.
According to the expert, the changes will bring many benefits to the field.
The German proposes to impose stricter penalties for "tactical fouls".
If a quick attack is stopped in this manner, a 17-meter penalty kick should be awarded.
To reduce simulation and time-wasting, a specific solution is also proposed: if a player receives medical assistance on the field, he could only return to the game after three minutes.
The referee should also gain additional powers – he could temporarily (for 10 minutes) remove a disrespectful player from the field for insulting words directed at him.
And if angry players surrounded the referee after a certain decision, he could show at least a few red cards without any scruples.
