After the victory in the Champions League with a score of 4:0 against Copenhagen, Tottenham's head coach Thomas Frank praised his team's defender Micky van de Ven and compared him to Lionel Messi:

"M. van de Ven is the top scorer for the 'Spurs' in all competitions, so he needs to keep working like this. If the Dutchman is angry after the match, he can just walk past me."

"When he started running, dribbling past opponents, and scored that incredible goal, it reminded me of L. Messi."
