An important stage in the construction of the National Stadium

The construction site of the national stadium continues to be bustling with work.

The contractor for the first phase, "Naresta," reports that the arena's structure will start to become apparent in a few weeks.

According to Vilnius Mayor Valdas Benkunskas, the stadium's foundations are currently complete, and work is wrapping up on the underground level.

The politician mentioned that the surface elements are already being "cooked" at the concrete factory and will soon be able to be assembled on-site.

This means that by the end of this year, walls and grandstand structures of the building will begin to rise.

The stadium is planned to be completed in November 2027.
