V. van Dijk: 'I will say this, T. Arnold was unreal in the Liverpool team'

"Liverpool” club defender Virgil van Dijk commented before the match against Real Madrid on how he will greet his former teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold and revealed how much he communicates with him:

"We will see what the Englishman’s greeting will be.

Do you want it to be welcoming? I think he was incredible in the 'Scousers' team during his time. That’s the only thing I want to say.”

"Have I spoken to T. Arnold since his move to Madrid? Not really, no.

As it is, there’s nothing personal, of course, I’m living my life and he’s living his in Spain.”

Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold played together in the Liverpool team from 2018 to 2025 and fought twice for the Premier League and the Champions League.
