Former "Crystal Palace" owner John Textor, who tripped up the club's efforts to enter the Europa League, tried to inquire about the situation of another "Premier" league club.

According to the "NY Times," the American businessman offered $200 million in cash and $350 million in shares to the owners of the "Wolverhampton" club, the "Fosun International" group.

However, the offer was rejected, as "Fosun" aims to sell only a small portion of the club. They want to remain the main owners of the club, despite the looming threat of relegation.

J. Textor remains the main shareholder of the "Lyon" club.
