Frenkie de Jong will sign a new contract with Barcelona soon.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 28-year-old Dutchman is in the final stages of negotiations with the Catalans.

The new contract for the midfielder with Barca will be valid until the summer of 2029.

All formalities are expected to be completed officially very soon.
