Cristiano Ronaldo is currently, as he approaches the end of his career, striving for several things, one of which is to reach the milestone of 1000 career goals.

In an interview with "Canal 11," the Portuguese player revealed that some people, especially his close relatives, question his decision to continue playing football.

"People, especially my family, say: ‘It’s time for you to stop. You’ve achieved everything. Why do you want to score 1000 goals?’”

I don’t think that way. I believe I am still showing good things, helping my club and national team, so why shouldn’t I continue doing that?” C. Ronaldo stated.
