S. Umtiti: 'O. Dembele had no trouble being late for ten minutes or almost an hour'

Last week, Samuel Umtiti, who has just retired from his career, commented on his friend Ousmane Dembele's constant tardiness at the "Barcelona" club and the French national team:

"In Barcelona, they would constantly ask me to call O. Dembele every morning so that I would know he was awake.

It was very important to know if he had gotten up at the time when the Frenchman was supposed to be at training.

I did this for his own good because being late by 10, 20, or 50 minutes was not a problem for him. The coach was unhappy about that."

Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele played together at the "Barcelona" club from 2018 to 2022.
