Croatian Luka Modrić has successfully integrated into the ranks of the "Milan" club.
After yesterday's victory in the "Serie A" championship against the "Bologna" club (1:0), the latest personal achievements of the veteran in the "red and black" ranks were counted.
The 40-year-old player became the oldest "Milan" midfielder of all time to score in the league.
He surpassed Nils Liedholm, who at age 38 had scored against the goalkeeper back in 1961.
Additionally, from now on, L. Modrić can boast of being only the third 40-year-old or older footballer in the history of the Italian league to manage to score against an opponent's goalkeeper.
