The Madrid "Real" team decided to ignore the requests of the Argentine Football Federation.

South American football representatives tried to invite "La Liga" club winger Franco Mastantuono for the upcoming U-20 World Cup.

As reported by the Spanish media, "Real" exploited a loophole in FIFA rules and prohibited their talent from participating in the tournament taking place in Chile from September 27 to October 20.

FIFA requires clubs to release players only for the most important tournaments, and the U-20 championship does not fall into this category.

The "Real" team justified this by stating that F. Mastantuono will be crucial for them during the upcoming match marathon, as they will play a total of 7 matches at the turn of the month.
