Three more South American teams secured places in the World Championship

After the matches that took place last night in South America, the list of participants for the 2026 World Cup has expanded even further.

The football fiesta will include the Uruguayan team, which triumphed over Peru 3-0.

The tournament will feature the Colombian and Paraguayan teams, which have also secured spots in the CONMEBOL qualifying group standings.

Paraguay is particularly celebrating, with its president Santiago Pena even declaring a public holiday. They last played in the World Cup in 2010.
