At the beginning of the season, Kobbie Mainoo, who has not had much of a role in the local "Manchester United" squad, wants to move to another team for the season.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 20-year-old Englishman has informed the club that he wants to be loaned out.

It is emphasized that K. Mainoo does not want to leave "Man Utd" entirely, but he needs the loan for playing time and the opportunity to compete for a place in the England national team for the upcoming World Cup.

However, the same F. Romano adds that the "Red Devils" want to keep K. Mainoo in their squad.

"Man Utd” has been negotiating with the academy graduate for a new contract for some time. K. Mainoo's current contract is valid until the summer of 2027.
