"Kaunas Žalgiris" completed their excellent journey in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.

On Thursday, they defeated Kaunas football team 2:0 (3:0) at Kerdzhali's "Arda" home.

The fate of the series was decided in the first 12 minutes – Dimitar Velkovski scored in the 8th minute, and after 4 minutes, Svetoslav Kovachev also scored.

Moreover, the intrigue was completely killed by two red cards. In the 34th minute, Divine Naah received a direct red card for a rough foul, and just before halftime, Temur Chogadze received a second yellow card and was also sent off.

The second half was merely a formality – with no goals.
