Defender O. Alderete will play for the Sunderland team

The "Sunderland" club is continuing to strengthen during this transfer window.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the team returning to the Premier League will be joined by "Getafe" defender Omare Alderete.

The Paraguayan will move to the English club for £10 million.

The defender will sign a contract until the summer of 2029.

28-year-old Omare Alderete has played for "Getafe" since 2022 and has scored 2 goals in over 100 matches.
