Women’s football creates a lot of drama and intensity not only in Europe.

In the final of the Copa America women’s tournament, Brazil overcame Colombia after a series of penalty kicks. The regular time with extra time ended with a score of 4:4.

Until the last minute of regular time, Colombia led 3:2. Mayra Ramirez's goal seemed to be decisive, but the veteran Marta, who came off the bench, saved Brazil.

The Brazilian football legend equalized in the eighth minute of added time with a long shot.

In the 105th minute, Marta managed to put Brazil ahead, but this time the Colombians extended the match with another chance.

It is worth mentioning that during the penalty shootout, Marta was inaccurate. However, other Brazilian players were more precise, and the nominal favorites won the shootout 5:4.

Three years ago in the final of this tournament, Brazil also defeated Colombia (1:0).
