Real Madrid has completed negotiations with Lisbon's Benfica for the acquisition of Alvaro Carreras.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the 22-year-old fullback will cost the "royal" club around 50 million euros.

However, Real has agreed with the Portuguese club that this amount will be paid in several installments.
