The Vilnius "Žalgiris" team successfully started in the Champions League qualifiers.

The A league club won 2:0 at home against the "Hamrun Spartans" team.

The Vilnius team had the initiative in the first half, but they failed to break through the defense of the Maltese team.

However, the guests collapsed after the break. In the 59th minute, after a beautiful combination, L. Antalis directed the ball into the net (1:0).

In the 85th minute, K. Hagi doubled the score to 2:0.

The second leg will be played next week in Malta.
