The Brazilian will coach the team from his home country, Botafogo.

This is the first team where he will work as a head coach.

The Botafogo team lost to Palmeiras in the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup.

Davide Ancelotti has been working as an assistant coach since 2016 and has always assisted Carlo Ancelotti.
