M. ter Stegen will go all the way: demands an impressive sum from 'Barca' © AP

Barcelona player Marc-André ter Stegen does not intend to relent to the team's management.

The 33-year-old German has been extremely disappointed by the behind-the-scenes maneuvers of the team and the quietly formed duo of other goalkeepers.

The La Liga club has decided to acquire Joan Garcia, appointing Wojciech Szczesny as his backup, leaving no room for the long-time player.

According to Sport, M. ter Stegen does not even want to hear about terminating the contract "by mutual agreement" under unfavorable conditions and demands to be paid his full salary – the contract valid until the summer of 2028 guarantees the player a sum of 19 million euros.

Due to a possible transfer, the veteran has already refused to talk to clubs like Monaco, Galatasaray, or Chelsea.

According to the press, the German is extremely disappointed with Barca's actions behind his back and now intends to fight to the end with the team's president Joan Laporta.
