The new head coach of the Italian national team, Gennaro Gattuso, revealed what is needed for Liverpool midfielder Federico Chiesa to return to the national team:

"F. Chiesa needs to play more, that is important.

Our doors are always open, but we want Fede to play more."

The 27-year-old Federico Chiesa has played 14 matches for Liverpool and scored 2 goals.

F. Chiesa has been playing for the Italian national team since 2018.

The Italian may return to the Serie A championship this summer.
