Manchester City coach Josep Guardiola commented on his decision not to take the national team forward Jack Grealish to the World Club Cup tournament in the USA.

According to the Catalan, he would like the Englishman to leave the club as soon as possible.

The only reason Jack didn't play much last season is my decision.

During discussions with the club, it was decided that he cannot not play and must find a team where Grealish would look like he did during the treble-winning season or at his career stage with Aston Villa.

He needs to get back on the field and feel the "butterflies" in his stomach again, Guardiola said.
