On Wednesday, London’s Tottenham ended their trophy drought by defeating Manchester United 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League final.
The Spurs are not only finally celebrating a trophy but will also return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
However, this victory does not guarantee peace for Tottenham's manager Ange Postecoglou, who stated after the win that he is not currently thinking about his future.
"So far, no one has spoken to me about my future. Perhaps there was simply no need, or maybe they were waiting to see how the final would end.”
"What I can guarantee is that I will now return to my hotel room and have a few drinks with my closest people. On Friday we have a parade, and on Sunday, we have to finish the Premier League season as best as we can. On Monday, I’m flying away on vacation with my family, and those are the most important things for now,” Postecoglou said at the press conference.
The Australian acknowledged that this trophy is the hardest one he has ever fought for in his entire career.
"Without a doubt, this is the hardest thing I have ever had to achieve. This club has had many great coaches and players but has not had a moment like this evening,” added the Spurs' manager.
