On Wednesday, Manchester United lost to London’s Tottenham in the UEFA Europa League final and will not play in any international tournaments next season.
After the lost final, Man Utd manager Ruben Amorim stated that he still believes in his vision, and if the club or fans have a different opinion, he is ready to leave the team without any compensation.
I haven't proven anything to the team’s supporters yet, so right now it’s just a matter of trust in me.
We’ll see what happens. I am open to everything. If the club or fans no longer want to see me, I am ready to leave without any compensation. However, I am not going to run away from this situation.
I believe in what I am doing. I can assure you that I am not planning to make any radical changes in my work,” said R. Amorim.
The Portuguese also stated that the "Red Devils" were the better team in the final against their opponents.
I am not going to talk about the future now, but we will have to live through the pain of this loss.
It’s clear that there was a better team on the pitch, yet we again failed to score. The guys on the pitch did everything to win this final,” added the Man Utd manager.
