P. Guardiola: 'I told the club officials that I don't want to have too many players.'

"Manchester City's head coach Pep Guardiola, after the 3:1 victory against Bournemouth, revealed that he does not want to have too many players in his squad and would rather rely on academy graduates:

"I do not want to have 24, 25, or 26 players in my team when everyone is ready to play. I told the club that I do not want that.

If injuries occur, it would be unsuccessful. Then we would need more academy players and we would rely on them."

"Manchester City" is currently in third place in the English Championship with 68 points, with one round left until the end of the season.
