POP: A. Užkalnis plans to leave Vilnius over the unfinished stadium

The well-known journalist Andrius Užkalnis publicly announced that he has decided to change his place of residence.

The man listed ten reasons why he swapped Vilnius for Klaipėda, one of which was the never-emerging national stadium.

"One word – stadium.

Vilnius is a graveyard of unfinished (and sometimes not even properly started) constructions and reconstructions with constant revisions, and I don’t like it when the city government openly lies, deceives, and pretends that nobody understands: the stadium will never be built, it is intentionally being delayed, coordinated, and projects are being changed so that nothing ever changes,” writes A.
