Panevėžys crushed Kauno rajono Hegelmann club.

Another match of the 11th round of the "TOPsport A League" was held in Panevėžys, where the local team defeated Kaunas district's "Hegelmann." Having played an excellent end to the match, "Panevėžys" triumphed with a score of  3:0 (0:0), overwhelming the players in blue and white.

The match started with unfortunate news for both Roland Vrabec and Andrius Skerla – even before the game began, there was a substitution in the hosts' squad, as Abdoulas Dante was unable to start the match. On the other side, Vilius Armalas suffered an injury in the 8th minute.

Both teams had very few chances in the first half, with one of the more dangerous opportunities coming from Salomonas Kouadio. However, his shot went well over the goal, while Njoya Abdelas Kaderas responded by breaking through the left side of the penalty area.

The second half began with a dangerous low shot from Patrikas Popescu, while on the other side, Jerome Simonas, receiving the ball in a good position in front of the goal, was quite inaccurate.

In the 77th minute, a considerable confusion occurred near the "Hegelmann" goal after a corner kick was taken, during which Elivelto Ribeiro Dantas inadvertently rolled the ball into the net. After a long VAR check, the goal was awarded. "Hegelmann" attempted a response when Jonathanas Mulder performed a nice action passing to Rasheed Yusufu, but the player failed to reach the ball. In the 87th minute, Leo Ribeiro struck just beside the goal – sending the rebounding ball narrowly past the rectangle.

The match's final point was made in added time by Pavle Radunović and Isaacas Asante. The Serbian striker scored after receiving the ball from deep and outmaneuvering the unmarked Arijus Bražinskas, while Isaacas Asante found the net with a precise penalty shot following a rebound.

After the 11th round of the "TOPsport A League," "Panevėžys" remains in 8th place with 14 points, while "Hegelmann," with 21 points, is currently in 2nd place.
