M. Zubimendi reached an agreement with Arsenal club

London's Arsenal club will be adding a new midfielder this summer.

This is Martin Zubimendi, a player currently competing for San Sebastián's Real Sociedad.

According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, the "Gunners" are prepared to pay a buyout clause amounting to 60 million euros.

A verbal agreement has already been reached with the Spaniard, and this will be the first addition for the new season.

Last summer, Liverpool wanted to see the player in their team.

Martin Zubimendi has been playing regularly for Real Sociedad since 2019. Prior to that, he was in the Basque team's B and C squads and had been in the youth academy since 2011.

The 26-year-old M. Zubimendi has scored 10 goals in 232 matches and became a European champion last year.
