In the return leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinal, there was incredible drama.

Inter Milan took the lead 2-0 in the match against Barcelona, but ultimately, regular time ended in a 3-3 draw, and the teams battled for a spot in the final during extra time. The extra time favored the Serie A representatives, who grabbed the ticket to the decisive tournament match – 4-3.

The hosts started the match boldly, and in the 21st minute, they finally took advantage of a chance to score when L. Martinez found the net (1-0).

Inter continued to pay close attention to the guests' talent L. Yamali, who struggled to break free from the opponent's grips.

Just before halftime, following a foul by P. Cubarsi against L. Martinez, a penalty kick was awarded to the guests, which H. Calhanoglu successfully converted – 2-0.

However, the Catalans had no intention of surrendering. In the 54th minute, E. Garcia scored, and in the 60th minute, D. Olmo equalized the score (2-2).

That wasn't the end of Inter's troubles – in the 88th minute, Raphinha tilted the score in favor of the guests (2-3).

Just when it seemed that Barcelona would soon celebrate a triumphant dance, in the 93rd minute, F. Acerbi equalized the score.

In extra time, the only goal was scored in the 99th minute by D. Frattesi.
