"The changes in the head coach position at Manchester United certainly came at a cost.

According to The Telegraph, the decision to dismiss Erik ten Hag and hire Ruben Amorim cost the "Red Devils" more than 20 million pounds sterling.

E. ten Hag had a contract until 2026, so the cost included the termination of his contract, while R. Amorim left the Sporting club with a buyout.

The Portuguese signed a contract until 2027.
